Dissolve Factory
Dissolve Factory is a plugin for After Effects, Combustion, Final Cut Pro, and Final Cut Express which allows you to create tasteful new cross dissolves based on various properties of your footage. You can use the luminance to control the dissolve, resulting in a much more film-like fade than the standard cross-dissolve transition.
